- O’Hara Auditorium, Mendoza College of Business
Simone Tang is an associate professor of organizational behavior at the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University. She earned her BA in psychology and an MA in criminology from the University of Pennsylvania and her PhD in Business Administration from Duke University. As part of her research on ideology, morality, and ethics, she examines how people’s moral values and ideological beliefs influence their attitudes, judgments, and behaviors. For example, she has studied how feelings of loyalty increase irrational decision-making, how differences in information delivery influence culpability, and the positive and negative consequences of corporate personhood.
