Real estate shapes the places where we live, work, learn, and gather.

From developing communities and investing in properties to addressing housing challenges and revitalizing neighborhoods, real estate plays a vital role in society and the economy. The minor in Real Estate provides students with an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the built environment, drawing on perspectives from business, finance, architecture, engineering, and the social sciences. Through coursework and experiential learning opportunities, students explore topics such as real estate development, investment and private equity, placemaking, international real estate capital markets, affordable housing, and the unique challenges and opportunities associated with church properties.

Open to all Notre Dame undergraduate students, the 15-credit minor equips students with a strong foundation in real estate while exposing them to a variety of career paths and industry perspectives. Students also have opportunities to engage with alumni and industry professionals through guest speakers, networking events, and experiential learning programs.
