FAQs

QIs an MSF still a good investment?

A

Finance has never been more influential, or more complex. Organizations need professionals who can evaluate markets, understand risk and make informed recommendations in environments shaped by rapid technological, economic and geopolitical change. The Notre Dame MSF develops both the quantitative expertise and the judgment to help you contribute with confidence.

QWhy choose the Notre Dame MSF over other top finance programs?

A

Most finance programs prepare students to understand capital. The Notre Dame MSF prepares students to understand what responsible financial decisions make possible. You’ll develop rigorous analytical skills, while learning to evaluate opportunities within a broader view of business, leadership and long-term value.

QWhat careers can I pursue with the Notre Dame MSF?

A

Graduates build careers across investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, private equity, asset management, commercial banking and many other sectors. More importantly, they enter organizations prepared to contribute wherever important financial decisions are made, and wherever thoughtful judgment creates opportunity.

QWhat makes the Notre Dame MSF experience different?

A

Technical expertise opens doors. Judgment determines what happens once you’re inside. The Notre Dame MSF combines rigorous finance education, with close faculty mentorship, applied learning and one of the world’s strongest alumni communities, preparing graduates to analyze financial opportunities and to understand their broader impact.
