Master of Science in Business Analytics

Turn information into understanding. Business has never had more data. The challenge isn’t finding information. It’s knowing what it means. The Notre Dame Master of Science in Business Analytics develops the technical expertise and business judgment to transform complex data into decisions that organizations can act on.

In a classroom setting, four students sit around a table focusing on laptops and taking notes during a lecture. In the foreground, a student in a grey zip-up hoodie writes in a notebook beside an open laptop. In the soft-focus background, an instructor in a light button-down shirt stands in front of whiteboards, gesturing with his hand as he presents to the class.

What You'll Learn

Develop expertise in analytics, visualization, modeling, and decision making while learning to communicate insights that organizations can act on with confidence.

Targeted MSBA Concentrations

Whatever impact you aspire to make, the Notre Dame MSBA program offers the right concentration to help you achieve it. Specialize in Advanced Analytics, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Sports Analytics, or Marketing Analytics for in-demand, industry-specific learning experiences.

Immersive Career Experience

At Mendoza, experiential learning is pivotal to your business education. During the Grow Irish Immersion, you'll harness your analytical prowess in a multi-day data hackathon with a real client. Culminating in pitch-style presentations, this experience sharpens communication skills and your ability to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Mastering Real-World Analytics

The program culminates with a hands-on capstone project where you and your team will partner with a corporate sponsor on a real-world analytics project where you'll have the opportunity to put your knowledge and skills to work.

“It’s not just about learning skills; it’s about becoming the kind of leader who uses them with integrity and impact.”

Arianna Sakoutis, MSBA '25
