Ethical Dimensions of a Flattened World
This year's Notre Dame Forum tackles the complexities of the global marketplace, emphasizing its dual nature as both a force for benevolence, lifting billions out of poverty, and a source of danger, contributing to environmental challenges. With insights from scholars, authors, and even the pope, discussions revolve around the ethical implications of economic practices and the moral responsibilities of individuals. The forum encourages a conversation on how personal ethics, rather than just government actions or market forces, can drive meaningful change in rebuilding the economy to better serve all.
