Founding of the John Cardinal O'Hara Society

In 1921, the University of Notre Dame launched the College of Foreign and Domestic Commerce, guided by the vision of Rev. John Francis O'Hara, C.S.C. His belief in a values-oriented approach to business, rooted in ethics and service, continues to influence the Mendoza College of Business and its commitment to Ask More of Business™. The John Cardinal O'Hara Society honors O'Hara's legacy by recognizing those who support the MBA and Executive MBA programs through significant contributions, helping to foster the next generation of principled leaders.
