Notre Dame Trail

In November 1842, Father Sorin and seven Holy Cross brothers traveled over 300 miles from Vincennes, Indiana, to the land that would become the University of Notre Dame. From the beginning, Sorin envisioned a powerful institution for good, leading to the construction of the university's beloved Golden Dome. As Notre Dame celebrates 175 years, the community invites everyone to reflect on this remarkable journey, retracing the steps that laid the foundation for its legacy. Visit: trail.nd.edu.
