A TWIST FOR LIMEBIKE

A marketing class at Notre Dame partnered with the city of South Bend to introduce a new bike-share program featuring LimeBikes, which are dockless and available through a convenient smartphone app. The initiative, sparked by a conversation between assistant marketing professor Mitchell Olsen and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, allowed students to tackle real-world challenges, including the search for an economically sustainable system. This experience not only armed students with practical marketing skills but also aimed to leave a lasting impact on the community.
