MSM Experiential Learning

Five students walk toward the camera in a wide, modern, glass-walled pedestrian skyway bridge with white steel structural beams and patterned grey-and-blue carpet. From left to right: a woman in a black puffer jacket, a woman in a light grey overshirt and checkered pants, a man in a black suit with a light blue shirt, a man in a grey Notre Dame quarter-zip pullover carrying a jacket, and a man in a purple sweater and dark trousers. All five wear official name badges as they talk together while walking.

MSM Milwaukee Grow Irish

Grow Irish

Grow Irish takes learning beyond the classroom through real-world consulting projects, company visits, alumni connections and professional development. In the fall, you’ll put your business knowledge into action while building problem-solving and communication skills. In the spring, career-focused workshops help prepare you for what comes next. Along the way, you’ll explore industries, gain professional experience and build relationships across the Notre Dame network.

Two young men sit at a long wooden conference table during a group study session in a brightly lit room with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. On the left, a student in a purple sweater gestures while speaking; beside him, a classmate in a grey Notre Dame quarter-zip jacket smiles in response. Laptops with gold Notre Dame "ND" decals rest on the table, including one in the foreground showing "BizStarts" on its screen. An over-the-shoulder view of another group member frames the foreground.

    Business Problem Solving

Learn to approach problems using techniques and tools practiced by leading consulting firms. Through cases and client engagements, you’ll identify problems, analyze data, develop creative solutions and present recommendations to industry professionals, gaining hands-on practice and real-time feedback along the way.

A group of approximately ten students wearing professional business attire and Notre Dame name badges stands in a circle in a bright, modern office lobby, listening to a speaker seen from behind in a navy suit jacket. The spacious lobby features polished marble floors that reflect the group, floor-to-ceiling sheer curtains, a wooden reception desk, and large glass entry doors in the background.

      Employer & Alumni Connections

Connect with employers, alumni and industry professionals throughout the MSM experience. These interactions give you opportunities to explore career paths, learn how organizations tackle real business challenges and build relationships that can help shape your next step.
